Shiatsu is a holistic approach based on the search for a better body balance. It aims to re-establish a better circulation of vital energy (Qi) through pressure, mobilization or stretching. According to the oriental approach, every discomfort (physical, emotional or mental) is the result of an energetic imbalance. Thus, the practice of shiatsu allows an unblocking in the energy network of the body (the meridians) and promotes health and well-being. Largely influenced by traditional Chinese wisdom, this discipline conceives health in its entirety and promotes the establishment of contact with oneself. Shiatsu is practiced on the floor, on a futon and the person remains clothed during the session.
